Ego’s gotta go to grow!!!!! ~JoOf~. I’ve been a grower for 4 years now. I started off growing under my stairs in my basement. I wrapped tin foil around some cardboard and made a box with one side completely open. I found some old Jiffy pots and some old veggie seeds in a drawer at my now wife’s house. Walked into my back yard and found some “worm dirt” and put it in the cups and planted some bag cannabis seeds, radish, tomatoes, and giant zinnia. I had two 9w led lights from Home Depot. And I started growing. I then scaled up and turned the room into a working microgreen farm and got licensed and registered to grow and sell microgreens. Our name was PiggyGreens Microgreens and we did farmers markets every weekend. I moved my cannabis grow up to my closet in my master bedroom in a 2x4. I invested in building a 25 light grow house and had a falling out with the partners. So I moved everything to my house and tore down the microgreens. I now run 2 2x4 tents for veg 2 4x4s for flower and a 4x4 for drying and I run a perpetual harvest. I’m a recovering opiate addict and have been California sober for 8 years now. One of the reason I began growing was because the winters were always a dark time for me and I struggled. So I had to start right away because I knew it was my calling!! I pave roads for a living. I’m the guy making the entire job move foward so to me my garden is my place of solice. I’m taking my work ethic and trying to apply it to my grow. All the hustle less stress. My ultimate goal is to somehow just be involved with cannabis on a daily basis and have it be my career.
