Greetings fam.
It’s week 3 with some c4 and blackberry autoflowers. 2 of them have light discoloration. Is this a Cal/mag issue or maybe airflow issue? They are in peat/Coco/vermiculite which is really holding a lot of water. I’m watering once a week or so. They have some Dr. Earth pre-amended (maybe too lightly. Less than half of the manufacturers instructions. These are in a closet with one fan with 14 100 watt /not true watts LED 30k and 40k bulbs. I know… I’m working on getting a real setup. Rh: 54% and 75F. What do you think is the issue? Not enough air circulation? Cal/mag maybe? This is my first auto grow.
Thanks guys n gals!
Is it just a single leaf? If so, just keep on an eye on it to see if it goes to more than one. I’ve noticed new growth on a new plant can look kind of weird at times. Kind a like a newborn baby’s cone-head..lol. It’s very easy to be overprotective with our new baby plants :).
Ya it’s a leaf or two. New growth looks good.
I gave them some Cal/mag at 1/4 strength.
Ph and the fact you don’t have enough food in the mix. Looks like nitrogen is available. How long did you let your mix cook after amending? The bottom finger leaf is feeding the plant as well and it’s a little early for that to happen.
I just mixed the dry ferts with the Coco/peat mix.
I didn’t cook anything.
The plants look ok but far from great.
I need a pH meter. I have a soil probe and it says soil is 6.5.
I just put a tablespoon of each Dr. Earth and Cal/mag today. See if that helps. Idk.
they doubled in size overnight.
