Hello DGC,
I would like to start by thanking PacNW Dan, SmokeyMt.top, and Sensi_mi_yah for their replies to my last question. I found that I wil have to substitute light to get the girls through veg in Belize.
“The length of the day in Corozal varies over the course of the year. In 2021, the shortest day is December 21, with 11 hours, 2 minutes of daylight; the longest day is June 20, with 13 hours, 14 minutes of daylight.” https://weatherspark.com/
My question now is how low of a wattage equivalent bulb can I use to get them through vegetative stage of growth. If I am correct they don’t need much, I was hoping a string of 15w equivalent led bulbs would work. I don’t know if this is enough light to keep them going or not.
Thanks for a great resource and entertainment platform.
Greatly appriciated,
Jinxcat
Truthfully you sound like a perfect person for autos..you can really use any kind of light. i like leds lots of output little cost.
remember what you put in you get out.
good luck
and good travels
SmokeyMt.top,
I was thinking about that. I wander if I can find some regular indica auto seeds to build up a seed bank.
thanks!
Hey man im not much help here, but I am curious if you’re familiar with any older heirloom or landrace varieties unique to Belize?
Fishwhistler,
I am not familiar with any land race from Belize, but a lot of people there smoke. I just don’t do sativas (they give me bad anxiety). I think smokey may be onto something with the autos. I will defiantly try the low led lights first though. I just hope a 15 watt equivalent string of bulbs will stop them from going into flower, I have to grow outdoor there.
Seeds here now, has a good selection and pacific seeds carries indica autos.
good luck
