Hey DGC, so I noticed there wasn’t any hacks on running large amounts of full melt bubble so I thought I would share my old recipe me and a friend came up with  after a long night of drinking,😂. Originally it had to do with a cherry picker and a concrete mixer .cherry picker didn’t work that great but the concrete mixer works great. We used to use a pant mixer but that just beats your material up to much. A actual washing machine or the little bubblator washing machine are just to slow in my opinion .I just never yielded that great off those machines cause the ice melts and the process takes to long. I personally feel like if something isn’t moving your losing product and the ice is melting. Rather your batch is mixer or your pulling bags. I don’t  like to add more ice ,cause it adds more weight. So I try to work as fast as possible. One the main thing I like about the concrete mixer is it slosh’s your mix around instead of pulverizing it like a paint mixer. It reminds me of the ocean when waves come in and out gently and create that sea foam. Except this foam is fucking hash .So let’s get into the mix DGC and get down to the full melt. So I went down and got one of those orange concrete mixers like the one in the picture. Starting out sorting my trim by taking big stems that can puncture your  bubble bags screen, and I also pull and big yellow or brown leave’s out. this will help get a better quality bubble.
So my mix ratio is

1. One 5 gallon bucket lightly packed with sorted  trim
(Ice cold if possible)

2. One 20 pound bag of ice

3. One 5 gallon bucket of H20 (water).the coldest you can get it and RO water if possible.I’ve used water straight out of the garden hose and got gorgeous full melt before.

Set the concrete mixer bucket upward so nothing can come out .

Dump your 5 gallon bucket of trim in

Then add your 20 pound bag of ice in.

then add only half the 5 gallon bucket of water

You can also let the trim and ice mix a little before adding the H20 to break those trich’s off the sugar leaf’s.

At this point we are goin to turn on the concrete mixer  and set the bucket a 45 to 30 degree angle (I think😂) .it’s enough of a angle to keep it from sloshing out . This is when I check the mix ratio if it needs a little more water add it in. Most of the time it would be around  3/4 of a five gallon. Get your 32 gallon bubble bags set up and folded over in a 32 gallon trash can right in front the concrete mixer.I let it mix for around 7 to 10 minutes max. When it’s done mixing grab the lever so you have complete control of the buckets angle.one thing that takes a little practice is if you rotate the bucket to right place you can use the mixing paddles in the bucket to pre-crunch the mix with them .that way when you pull your crunch/trash bag you aren’t lifting a shit load of weight from ice and wet trim.32 gallon bags are hard on the back. After you have dumped your liquid gold into your set of bubble bags pull your trash/crunch bag and dump it back into the concrete mixer carefully not to contaminate the next bag or the outside of the trash/crunch bag with leaf matter. Now you can pull and shake you other bags and continue the rest of your bubble bag procedure. As soon as I have the water shaken out of the bubble bags and it all in the bottom of the trash can I pull the bags out and dump the water back into a 5 gallon bucket so I can pour it back into the concrete mixer and turn it back on. while it’s mixing you can be collecting and squeezing your bubble from the bottom of your bags .by the time your done and bags are set back up the concrete mixer is ready to pour again. depending on how fast you can pull bags and collect and set back up will determine how many times you can run the batch. I work fast to keep up with the melting ice and can run one batch around 4 to 5 time. Usually by the 4th or 5th time being mixer it’s only pulling a couple grams. the mix will start getting green instead of gold  . Normally on the last mix I will add in the 45 micron bag and to collect up anything that’s possibly left .I keep each collection of bubble separated and labeled. Back then we didn’t know about dry freezers so we hand press in the 25 micron screen that comes with the bags .then break it up a little bit in the screen and fluff it with a fork in a Pyrex dish. I would set in in the dark in my garage or basement where it’s cool in front of a dehumidifier with a fan blowing gently on it .fluffing it with a fork every couple hours will help it dry evenly and faster. It would ready in about 48 to 72 hours sometime less. This was in Arcata, CA where humidity is really high so it might dry faster in a dryer climate. It might be a little old school or outdated ,but this shit works. Last time I ran this method was in 2009. I have collected full melt out of the bottom the bag that was baseball and softball sized out of the first pull. If your wondering what I consider to be full melt here’s your answer. I used to take my full melt hash and a lighter and gently get it to bubbling point in my hand . once it got a nice big bubble I would throw it into the freezer. That way when I broker for a club asked about the quality I could pull that out and the could hold a frozen bubble and literally look through it in the light. I’m really enjoyed typing this up for the DGC and am really stoked that bubble is making a come back ,cause of rosin .I thought the art of bubble hash getting lost and outdated, because of BHO. It’s really cool to see all the new stuff being done with bubble now. Anyways I hope this helps DGC and all is well. Happy growing
