Your Dudeness and The RealDeal, I’ve finally got the cash to invest in a good pH/ppm meter and I wanna hear what you guys think about these 2 products from our friends at BlueLab: The Combo and the Guardian. Both measure pH,ppm/EC, and temp. The Combo is portable and takes 3 AAA batteries. The Guardian is mountable, plugs in to a power source, has a back up battery, remembers your settings in the event of a power failure or a battery change, and has “plant safe” green, adjustable LEDs . Whew! Anyway, my questions are: Is it worth the extra $100+ for bells and whistles? Can I leave the probes submerged all the time with either of these meters? I’m just tired of having to calibrate these cheapo meters and taking a risk on hurting my crop. Love to the DGC! UnderShade
