I recently got into a debate online about bud washing. I say no way unless you’re growing outdoors and have used sprays on you plants during flower. Also I watched a Jorge Cervantes video where he washed buds with PM. I read somewhere that PM is systemic and washing does no good especially if the PM is rampant throughout the plant. I’m of a firm stance that if you need to wash you weed its probably not worth smoking or ingesting anyway. Some people say it doesn’t hurt the final product one bit and actually improves the smell and aids in the curing process. I’m very skeptical on that but I suppose I could be wrong. I’m 42 and have been growing about 23 years in Southern Cali. I live in a pretty dusty equestrian area so I’ve always taken precautions to keep my plants protected from the clouds of dust that blow through my yard so I never found it necessary to clean my buds. Anyways I’d love for this to addressed on a show. I was on the fence when I first saw your show I took a couple for me to warm up to you guys but now Its hard to imagine growing without the DGC I’ve learned so much from you three I wish Guru would speak up more I find his wealth of knowledge infectious. I finally got some Recharge off Amazon and it’s great I started using it along side a product called Bud Explosion from Greenleaf Nutrients and I truly believe the Recharge combined with that in week 5 of flower kicked up the resin production and within a few days the smell is noticeably more intense. Sorry for carrying on Keep this thing going you guys are alright.
The one time I tried it wasn’t good, the buds lost all smell and taste. Besides I feel if you have pm it’s time to cut your losses anyhow Some will definitely disagree but my personal feeling is anything we are calling medicine shouldn’t ever be infected with mold.

I always wondered about this myself ive seen it done in a video by pigeons420 and the water in his buckets was considerably dirty but ive always wondered if it kmocked potency or flavor down i grow indoor and dont think i could bring myself to submerge my beautiful buds i water or anything for that matter.
I dont have any comment on washing buds.
But id LOVE to hear about your dust abatement techniques!
one neighbor is a working vineyard, with the dirt road on one side of me, and the other has two kids that ride ATV’s.
the vineyard did just treat the road with something, and the neighbors are trying to water their track, that helps a bit.
Maybe some anti dust grow hacks?
