On the left is a Royal Creamatic from RQS and on the left is C4 from Fastbuds. Both are the same age (almost 90 days) and the flowers on the royal creamatic are about triple the size of the flower on the C4. Try as I might I can’t get the C4 to put on any weight, even the main cola is looking like a lower. The royal creamatic is coming down this weekend and I’m going to let the C4 go for at least another month but does anyone have any tips or tricks they use to get the buds to fatten up before harvest?
At this point the C4 is barely worth smoking and will probably just become bubble hash but it seems like a poor way to use such beautiful purple flower. Grown in coco under 2x 240w QB’s
Maybe give her a little extra phosphorus and potassium. Some people will also use unsulphered molasses towards the end to give sugars to the soil biome which works quicker to make nutrients plants available.
That is a very pretty bud, but as you say, not much to it yield wise. Blame Instagram, lol.
She’s been getting a high PK bloom booster for a few days now and they get their once a week treat of recharge too.
At this point I’ll let her run for another month and then pull her regardless of size.
The next run is looking much more promising and I still have a few ounces from the last run and have a decent yeild on the royal creamatic so one dud plant isn’t the end of the world.
I wish I could edit the post because I said both plants are on the left… Royal creamatic on the left. C4 on the right
Often, this is the case with autos. I have a friend that got 1 oz out of a plant and a few grams out of a plant from the same pack. Both fed exactly the same. I’ve had similar experiences. I’m not completely done with autos, but there’s a learning curve
At the end of the day it’s simply unstable genetics
