Hey guys,
First grow, so I’m admittingly a bit of a helicopter parent. Found these on one of my plants about a week ago which was about 3 weeks into flower. Plucked them all off. A buddy told me they were Calyx’s and not to worry. A week later, (4 weeks into flower) their back with a vengeance. Should I be worried? What are these things? Appreciate any advice you could give.
Genuine herm. Sorry for your loss.
I’ll take my stunties over a herm anyday.
Thank you guys for taking the time to respond. Already chopped it down and threw it away. Good news is I’ve still got 2 healthy ones going. Hopefully I caught it in time.
God Bless 😉
I feel your pain brother. As a newish grower myself I still lose 1 or 2 plants a run to bad nute ratios.
My condolences. Thanks for sharing your experience.
in the herms defense I just grew out two seeds from elev8 and they both had 5-10 male flower clusters at the very bottom like the ones in your pics. I was going to throw them out but I decided to pick them off and that was all she gave me not another ball the whole grow no nanners later in flower. So sometimes if it’s minimal and more or less bottom balls it might be worth snipping those nuts and seeing if she grows any more.
LOL just read that you tried this…derp
Dammmmmm you got bigger balls than me….
Thats a male bro. Only white hair pistols should come out of a female plant. Check conditions and please check for light leaks, including any equipment that might have status lights on. Just putting it out there bro, if it is not that, then it is environment or gentics bro.
Cutting them off only seems to quadruple the balls.
