Can anyone tell me what this girl is asking for? Posted by Jaykush618 | Jun 7, 2020 | Grower Questions | 13 | Hey DGC, I have a couple leaves on 1 out of 5 plants in my tent that is changing color and I’m not sure why. Can anyone tell me what this girl is asking for? Its only on 2 leaves on 1 plant. All the rest look great.ππ±
Coach Steve on June 8, 2020 at 5:54 am Probably nothing nutritional maybe variegation. When it’s just a few leaves especially at this stage, it’s nothing to chase. If your runoff ppm and pH looks good there’s nothing really to do here but keep moving forward as you were. Log in to Reply

Jaykush618 on June 8, 2020 at 9:53 pm So Coach, i used a soil ph meter to check the soils ph when i just got home from work because a few other leaves where starting to look nitrogen deficient and its way to low its ranging 4.9-5.2 between the 5 plants i just fed/watered last night i feed/water every 3 days normally im also feeding every watering because im using biobizz whole line and i have never had this issue before what the fastest way to raise the ph in the soil Log in to Reply
Coach Steve on June 8, 2020 at 10:07 pm What are you growing in? And what water? Verify those numbers with a slurry test. It’ll be more accurate. https://youtu.be/GB5HLqmJzVs Log in to Reply
Jaykush618 on June 9, 2020 at 3:58 am Foxfarm ocean forest and my tap water which is naturally 7.8-8ph i have a 4 gal bucket and air pump with air stone to aerate and let the chlorine evaporate for 24-48 hours before i use said tap water. I havnt been ajusting my ph after i mix everything for the last couple weeks with the thought that i use plenty microbes with recharge which i use at 1/2 tsp per gal every feeding but i guess i dropprd the ball! Coach Steve on June 9, 2020 at 5:00 am Sorry, the soil pH meter is fine. I must have read wrong the first time. But it is good to get a 2nd opinion so to speak. The only thing I can think of as to why your pH would drop is from overfeeding since organic nutrients are a bit acid. That is weird though…should be enough carbonate in your tap to buffer the pH up. I literally use the same shit as you. Ocean Forest, tap water, bio Bizz. My water sits out as well, but I lower the pH of the water to low 6’s then mix with that. Damn..plus there oyster shell in OF. That pH can’t be right lol. The pics don’t look like a 5pH. Hopefully your pH meter isn’t one of those cheap probe things. I would try that slurry test I mentioned.
