First time grower. I’ve been sticking to a lite feeding Canna coco schedule and the plants seem happy. My local tap water has a pH of 6.3 so I’ve been letting it sit for 48 hrs before mixing the nutrients to avoid some of the inherited chlorine. I prepared the Bliss coco coir by rinsing out the coco and soaking it with cal-mag for 8 hrs twice before transplanting Mephisto’s Fantasmo Express and Chemdogging strains. My question is, do I need to add cal-mag to the nutrients? If I do need to add calcium could I use the NFTG Herculean harvest and Bloom Khaos as a foliar?

There is no need to buffer Canna coco with any calcium or magnesium. Canna buffers their coco properly. The concentration and ratio of calcium and magnesium is relative to the other maco elements. Your water source and nutrients most likely have enough calcium and magnesium. Using too much calcium is a very common mistake.
I never buffer my canna coco they do a good job at it and never had any issues
I definitely understand not trusting the manufacturer to buffer it correctly. I’ve been using coco for a good while and my plants always need to be fed calcium and magnesium. I wouldn’t make it through a run without adding.
Oh you need to use calmag in coco what we ment here is that you dont need to buffer your canna coco to begin with i feed daily 5ml per gallon calimagic until late flower
