Got into a “discussion” with a fellow grower about spraying plants down with water to remove residue after foliars. I can understand cleaning off oils which can plug plant pores or rinsing off pesticides which can burn plant matter if left on too long. However is doesn’t make much sense to me to wash off foliars like micronutrient feedings which are absorbed threw the leaves or something like potassium silicate which is used to change leaf pH to make it less hospitable for PM. He seemed very clear that EVERYONE but me always rinses off all products. Is there a right or wrong answer? Another opinion or 2 would be appreciated, thanks.
