Whats good ya’ll. I recently have noticed I have bugs. Now that I’m on flush and have been hammering the water I have seen this little white bugs zinging around in the water as i flush. I grabbed the loupe and identified them as springtails. I am in 5 gallon fabric pots of coco worm castings and perlite. Plants look great but they all have these critters. I assume they came with the Worm castings. Any one know if I should do something about these or worry about them? Can I dry the coco out and re use once infested? Thanks ya’ll.

Springtails are not harmful and are nothing to worry about. It’s normal to find them in coco.
Did some reading after I first came across them a few years ago in my DWC rig. Thought about ways to rid my system of them until I found out many commercial greenhouses actually buy them to put in their systems to eat dead plant material and bacteria. They’re extremely beneficial and have been shown not to adversely affect plant growth.
