So I am currently using Advanced Nutrients, Micro, Grow, and Bloom, with Cal-Mag and Big Bud. But I do see this with many other companies that have 2 or 3 bottle lines. Why would we use something with the same NPK ratios during Veg and Flower, when the ladies obviously need different amounts of let’s say N for the 2 different stages? Thanks in advance.
Confused about the same ratio of NPK being used for flower and Veg

When I ran DWC using House and Gardens two part it was the same. Plants flowered/smoked great even with the “extra” nitrogen, although I did taper down for the last couple weeks. Eventually I bought the bloom enhancers following bro science and marketing promises. The flowers still grew/smoked great, and the hydro store was slightly richer for it. I never did a side-by-side test, so I can’t say if the PK boosters really affected yield, but the Shooting Powder definitely made the fan leaves yellow quickly on some varietals. Like within 48 hours…it was a little scary.
you can run the lucas method with that jungle juice, only needing 2 bottles the entire grow.. micro and bloom.. you can simplify alot of those.
Ive been using advanced nutrients for few years now with excelent results. I use the 3 base nutes working up to 4ml per litre. Weeks 2 thru 4 of flower i add big bud also. Weeks 5 and 6 or until flush i add the overdrive. Have never had an issue. Every 3rd feed i give just h20.
Because you change the amounts you add to your feed as you plants grow. Advanced nutes is expensive but it (like almost all nutrient lines) is formulated to give you a correct nutrient balance when used properly. You don’t need to waste brain power or time on this one unless you plan to start a line of nutrients. Plenty of other things in the grow that need your focus.
