Hey guys!
Firstly I have been loving your videos, So jam packed with knowledge in a digestible way! Sadly I didn’t find you guys until my second grow. I will be moving shortly and am planning to do a grow at my new house. Right now I have a 4×4 set up and am running 2 SP3000’s (would love to hear Guru’s thoughts on the lights).
I’m trying to create a better environment when i move and had some thoughts about doing a two Tent setup. One tent (maybe a 6×6) which will be where all climate control will be and another tent (4×4) to Veg/flower. Learning about C02 has convinced me that I want it in my next grow. However, building a sealed room is not possible. Love to hear your thoughts!
So a 6×6 tent with a 4×4 tent inside? Is there a reason you can’t just seal the tent up? I don’t have co2. My buddy B dogger got it. I have to say…. yields have increased. But why two tents? Doesn’t that eat up more space that could have weed in it? Co2 stuff takes up room too. Do you sleeping the room with tent?
Yeah, Agree with Sunny. Maybe explain what’s going on. My setup is 1 4×4 tent for vegetative and a 2X4 for flower. Both have an AC infinity attached and a humidifier inside the tents. For temperature I control the AC of the overall room (in this case my pole barn) Keeping this in check keeps the tent temp to about 10degrees above the ambient ‘garage’ temp. So that’s temp. For humidity I have a de-humidifier in my ‘garage’ to keep the ambient humidity as dry as the dryest setting I need. Then the humidifier inside the tent regulates rH by pushing wet air out and dry air in. 1 AC 2 humidifiers 1 de-humidifier 2 AC infinity units. I don’t think about CO2 nor have I tested it inside my grow, but I’m ignoring it because I’m pulling so much ‘new’ air into the grow by pushing out all that moist air which is pulling in new CO2 from my ambient garage and then all the nooks and crannies in the now negative pressure garage. This has been my most successfull setup to date. Although I think I could measure CO2, but I have happy girls and that’s all I need, not trying to pull a bunch of weight, just want happy plants.
first of all, id put the 6×6 next to the tent if you want to use it as a lung room. the lager the lung the better.
second, whats a 6×6 tent cost? 4×8 panels of foam insulation are $10 or less.
6 panels and a few scraps of lumber and a lil duct tape to create a 8x8x10 lung, -if you use an exciting corner of a room. (two corner walls, floor and ceiling as 4 sides of the lung. assuming 10 foot ceilings. )
