Well I think I messed up and got mold my cannabis was smelling like hay, I went to burp 2 jars and saw a white residue on a few buds, not all are covered and looks like it’s in the beginning stages, is my weed trash now? Can I make edibles out of it or smoke still , or rosin, or am I screwed?

Jarring wet bud is a recipe for disaster. You probably fucked up. Do not smoke moldy bud. You can make bubble hash. Just wash it very well so no mold is left in the water. In the future, do not jar up your bud for at least a month after chop if at all. My bud is never jarred. Just leave it in an environment with 55-60% humidity for a month.
Well shit , I pressed the other half that didn’t have any on it but was still in the same jar , and I am not familiar with bubble hash . Hopefully I can salvage something more then a few grams of dabs , just really sad when all your 4 months worth of work goes down the Piper , this is my second crop I guess I should have expected something to go wrong.
Careful pressing moldy buds. The mold could get trapped in the oil. I’ve had friends ruin pounds of bud due to being impatient. Scotty even wrote a song about it. https://youtu.be/vVDWtRINIXo?t=3600
O sweet , I’ll check that out
I like your thinking jmystro. Ive heard many people who say never airtight unless for preservation. Some say it’s ready to smoke off the dry line. Ive smoked some tastey nuggets from the trim bin that sat in drying environment that tasted better then the cured smoke. Outdoors it’s been 85%rh up to 100% and my buds are getting wet when i go to pack a bowl. 😥
