What’s up DUDE,SCOTTY,and GURU when doing the flush does cutting off all the big fan leaves speed up the process since there are less nutrient reserves or slow it down due to less transpiration from the big fan leaves to move the nutrients from the media out of the leaves thanks for all the grow Knowledge!!PEACE DGC FAMILY

While that does make sense, I would be worried about triggering the plants to try to reproduce itself and kick out nanners if you remove to much at the end of the plants life.
I have not heard of people deleafing before flush. I defoliate in early flower and see benefits (if you don’t defoliate, listen to the Feb 5 2019 Tad Hussey podcast for a reason to start).
I keep my fan leaves on until my plant has cured to ensure a slower cure. So for me that idea wouldn’t work. I am not sure if I would be willing to stress my plant that late in flower. Some people surely do though with snapping branches and such. Just not me.
If you ever have two of the same phenotyoe finishing up, deleaf one at flush and leave the other for control and let us know what you see.
If you’re assuming that you remove nutrients from the plant by flushing then you are wrong. Flushing will only remove what remains in the medium. Your leaves will begin yellowing and dying off at the end of the plants life cycle as it naturally uses up all of the nutrients from the leaves so for me I personally leave them on.
