Originally I thought that the plant may just be finishing up but as I continue to think about it I’m not sure if that’s the case. It’s day 56 and the upper/middle section of the trichomes are all amber or look dead. There’s still new pistil growth coming from the buds. Nothing weirds happened during this run other than a couple days of humidity spiking to 70% and the heat reaching low 90s for a brief amount of time.
The buds do look pretty done to me. If you are seeing a lot of amber trichomes on the bud itself, it is time to pull her down.
White pistils can be a bit of a trick to the eye. I’ve had this idea, but never the opportunity to confirm, but when you get a bunch of fresh fox tailing on your upper buds towards the end, do those trichomes mature just as fast as the trichomes that have been on the buds all flower? Probably not, which could lead to some confusion as when to harvest. But overall, it sounds and looks like your plants are ready for chop.
What was is the flowering time listed by the breeder? 56 days or 8 weeks looks and sounds like they’re finishing. Obviously we can’t see the trichomes but flower growth, coloring and foxtails tells me time to flush, a 2 week flush and you’re done. Can’t see it in the pictures but monitor your light height so as not to light burn buds. Happy Growing 🙂

^ both of these things can damage trichs and may have contributed to what you are describing.
Overall that bud looks real nice tho. You might have hurt your quality a little bit, but I wouldnt stress about it. Just try to avoid those temp/humidity spikes next time around.
