Hey DGC I was just wanting to ask about all the finishing products for flower. The extra sugars and terpinator and whatnot. How much do those products actually improve the final harvest. Of the ones that are good any recommendations to use. I’m an outdoor grower with large pots. I wouldn’t want to spend a lot on something if dont gain much.
Thanks for any help. Love the show and can’t wait to show this year’s harvest
Hey Beaverbuds I have tried a few in my time and most are snake oil. I am an indoor tent organic soil grower on probation island.
Here are the things I added that actually worked and are cost effective:
⚡️Real Growers RECHARGE – it’s what plants crave, but seriously does fix most issues.
1. Green Sensation pk boost really promotes noticeable flower growth and works as an enzyme and soil conditioner.
2. Kelp a good pgr not necessary if you use recharge weekly.
3. Silica (msa not the bs) strengthens stems and leaves helps with drought and heat stress.
4. Epsome salt because calmag man but seriously the sulphur in flower brings the dank.
5. Plain clean water – sometimes less is more and the ladies love it.
Best of luck with your season!
Yes and no. It mostly depends are the nutrient program you incorporate the additives. There always seems to be a secrecy to any formula which makes is hard to know what you’re doing. If you follow the marketing terms & claims to the chemistry, you can make a poorly educated guess when you’re not a person who knows chemistry. I do know that some flower enhancers or finishers use specific amino acids or other biostimulants.
It’s all designed to do a job, but if you don’t have the chemistry right with your nutrients, it may not do that job very well. So try something that sells you, incorporate it into a nutrient program you have repeated success with and see for yourself. If you can be patient with every aspect of growing, you’ll go a long way; too much too fast and you’re left with more questions than answers.
I think it’s important to add, that anything with an NPK value can potentially throw a balance right out, so be cautious of that. Typically, you reduce your base to compensate for the added NPK.
Outdoors I’m not sure I’d add anything. Maybe rely on more teas…I’m indoor though, so..
You might find some formulas make everything taste the same or a certain way.
Well in past I’ve ran the entire fox farms line. Including powders and stuff. This year I still have all those because haven’t went through yet. But been feeding mainly mikrobs and mykos. They were fed nutrients once but I transplanted after so waiting few weeks before add any more
OK so this product is only used to finish your plants and may get a fade.(most of the times you’ll get it)
It helps finish your plants if your plants are taking too long simple as that. It does not add terpenes or boost of trichromes, it’s just to simply help finish your plants.
I mean you can try that’s not expensive is only 40 bucks for a quart. I’ve had mine for three years now and I’ve gone through six grows and got one more grow worth left.
