Hello all of DGC I am a relatively new Medical patient and grower of the fine Dank. I’ve had phenomenal success so far and am just looking for good ways to dial in my grow and have more control over my garden. I am currently using build a soils 3.0 blend in 6, 7 gal pots and I plan to amend my soil with the craft blend from build a soil. I I start to use Winter Frost from Mew Millennium will it keep affecting my soil for the next cycle, causing my plants to want to ripen quicker than intended later down the line? I should probably mention that my next few runs will be autoflowers from Mephisto Genetics meaning I have no control over when flowering will start. Thank you all in advance.

They use a certain ratio of micronutrients that makes the plant finish up its life cycle. Possibly a slight flush but the re-amending should help balance out those micronutrient ratios.
I asked Jerin about using winter frost in my living soil grow. He said you can definitely use it with living soil, but it was unknown how it would effect future runs in a no till situation.
He said doing a flush between runs would probably help limit how much of the winter frost carries over to the next cycle, but we don’t really know how much would stay in the soil or what effects it might have on the next round of plants.
Jerin hooked me up with a sample and I wanted to do some test runs with it but at the time I was growing in big 3×6 beds and wasn’t ready to commit them to an experiment. I had planned to test it out by doing a few runs in some 15 gals but I never got around to it.
Anyway… we should ask Jerin about this again, maybe he has some new info. if you’ve got a pot or two you can risk sacrificing for the experiment you could also just give it a try. It should provide benefits for your current crop, we just aren’t sure what effect it will have on future runs.
