I’m looking ahead to this winter and it’s supposedly going to be worse than last winter. There were a bunch of power outages last winter that I managed to dodge, but I wasn’t growing last winter. 10s of thousands of people in every direction of me lost power for over a week at one point.
If one of those week-long power outages happens to me, how much generator would I need to run a standard refrigerator and an HLG 550 V2? Also, about how much gas would one of those things burn through in a week if you were doing an 18/6 cycle? Is it something crazy like 200 gallons? I’ve never used one of those generators so I have no idea how much gas they use.
Thanks for all of the helpful info you guys provide for noobs like me.
