Watering is the hardest thing I had to get good at. I didn’t trust myself and a lot of conflicting opinions on moisture. I had this old ass postal scale around that i found somewhere. I started weighing the pots. Then for pots above 1 gallon I started taking readings from meter while also lifting every pot. I had 3 plants for this example. One was dry as fuck, no question. Next one I would be on the fence about. Doubting my decision. The last one is wet to the max. Just by taking the reading before and after watering measures amounts. It really gives you a good idea of what is going on to a point where it becomes effortless. You find over time you end u p needing the tools them selves less and less.

Haa, well it’s funny that the majority of issues y’all been having are related to over watering. You can lead a horse to water. But, you can’t make them drink. Same with your plants. You can definitely drown them though. Maybe I should get into dealing life vests. Probably much more lucrative than swimming lessons. Well if all else fails…. Buy some more bottles of magic bean juice.
