First of all these plants have been mistreated no training just some topping. Have been ill and spent couple stints in the hospital. I am ok now. The plants got in veg non pH adjusted water for about for 8 days pH about 9.42. Came home plants where dry had a bunch of burnt up leaves. I flush them with water pH to 6.5 then slowly got them back to looking good til week 3 of flower, then I noticed a little purple around the edges and some light yellowing on scattered leaves then I had surgery and was gone for several days but talk a friend thru the feeding that had some experience. the pictures are what I came home to. I grow in happy frog some oyster shell and use the complete line of blue plant farmers pride organic line Recharge. What is going on? Thanks Rolling Smoke
Nutrient lock-out occurred when your pH buffer went alkaline. Terrible news in flower as recovery can take weeks.
I had flushed it when I first noticed the purple and the leaves had a little bit of yellow then feed half. Strength also had keep them veg for about three weeks and they look great when I put in flower what hat if anything I can do thank you
They look starving to me. I don’t see any ph damage on leaves they just look like they are eating themselves. You can try upping the nutes. They buds look early enough that it shouldn’t make them foxtail since they will be in full bloom soon. I have had issues like this later in flower and try upping nutes then they foxtail but that was in like week 5ish and they were slowing the growth of biomass and starting the swell and forced new growth. Yours looks like they will be ok.
Do you think I should flush them again
Hey those plants look awful!
There’s some genuine fade in those leafs like she’s in her end stages too soon.
Everything’s finishing early this year. My pear tree turned colors and dropped all fruit by end of august its whacky.
I wouldn’t flush that would probably make your problem worse. I’d try giving more nutes slowly. More with each feeding but they won’t come back they’ll just stop fading so much and hopefully make it to the end
Yes have been slowly increasing back all most on correct feeding
Thanks for your help
Maybe he bought the goldleaf strain by mistake
I agree that mostly they look underfed, probably made worse by high pH. I’d just go back to the feed chart and follow it. You can expect a partial recovery and a somewhat disappointing harvest.
But what is up with the nutes? I looked them up and they say organic, but it looks like a standard 3-part salt mix. Are the liquids clear (salts) or murky/stinky (organic). If organic, plant recovery will be slower.
But if the bottle is advertised as organic but is actually salt, I’d get off that nute ASAP and switch to a reputable salt nute line.
Iits a murky organic and have been using a long time with great success never have problems at all it’s there three part farmers pride line don’t use full saints line and will be transitioning to earth boxes and living soil so at my age I don’t have to carry soil
thanks for your advice
Checked soil run off ph was 7.8 brought it down to 6.5 blue plants preferred ph and things took right off new grow nice and green and buds look better and filling out nicely
