Hey DGC hows it going? I finally got my commercial grow license here in sunny Oklahoma! I’ll be posting about my adventure along the way. I been a grower for 20 years now but never really used CO2 much. I have a flower room of 16x34x9 that I want to supplement but don’t know how often to dump the room. My guess would be exhaust the room every 4 hours for 5 minutes. Anyone with any good links or info, it would be greatly appreciated. āš»
How often to dump a sealed C02 room

A sealed system never needs to be vented. It’s vented when the doors open and close when workers enter and exit at night. You should be working during the dark cycle as well under green LEDs. Plants create all the oxygen the room needs so dumping CO2 and replacing it with oxygen during the dark cycle is not needed.
I’m not so sure about working in the dark with a room full of green light. I’ve recently seen an interview with Dr. Bugbee and I also believe that it should only be used when needed, and work should be done in the light cycle. You can find their talk about this starting at 13:05. https://youtu.be/VvBTsl_gScw
Unless your overnight co2 gets to 3 grand or so, don’t ever vent a sealed space.
Correct sizing of AC and dehumidifier(s) are key. VPD is more important now in order to use that co2 and throw those dimmer switches, you’re gonna need a lot of light.
I’m guessing with 20 years, you’ll figure it out. For my 1st run with co2 I jumped right in at 1500ppm and learned a lot the hard way on some things, but after tinkering around for a couple weeks, everything went to hyperdrive.
It allfelt new again, trying to dial in feed, light, temperature all because of the one new thng I added. I recommend starting easy at 800ppm and dialing up, but if you live on the wild side, giddy up!
