Hey everyone! I have a 3×4 bed with living soil that I like to top dress with compost after every cycle. I use blumats carrots and use a cover crop as mulch.
My question is, when I go to top dress compost, ammenndments, what ever it may be, should I be removing the blumats everytime and then reset them? And should I be tilling in my cover crop or just put the compost layer over the top? How do you guys do it?

Hey Yo Yo B. I use something similar and am also growing in a modified living soil. I top dress, let my carrots dry for a couple of days and then do a hand water after working my top dress into the top layer.
Seems to be working fine for me.
