I’ll just jump right into it. I’m stuck in the middle of the patience game. Over fertilized and then had to flush and now the soil is all soaked so I had to add some hydrogen peroxide solution to help dry it out faster (as recommended in online forums) and now I’m not going to have to water a single thing for over a month it seems. Its in veg (6 nodes in) and is in nute-lock. Anything else I can do to help it dry faster besides transplant, poke holes in soil, heaters, fans, dehumidifiers, and air flow?
Got all those things goin already.
Thanks,
PerbyMayhaps (maybe? Perhaps!)
It’s going to be a long nerve wrecking wait, but wait is all you can do. It looks a little upset but I believe it will come around. Lesson learned. I have been there plenty of times. I am a slow learner.
Man we’ve all been there. Keep your fans on them and crank your dehumidifier if you’ve got one. Patience is key.
I’ve never heard of using hydrogen peroxide Hate to say it but just start over pull the plant by it’s roots pop another seed in the damp soil and go at it again
Overwatered for sure. Elevate your fabric pots to get more air underneath if possible, this will speed up drying time. Bricks, rocks, grates, or anything else similar can be used as a riser. Good luck and Lift your pots for next 5 days.
Not too far gone, but yeah this will set you back a few weeks. Dry her out, and she should recover fine.
Hydrogen peroxide probably killed all the microbes. Hit it with that recharge next watering. I’ve tried shoving cotton strips from a cut up tee shirt to wick up the water and strung them to the branches. I’ve cover cropped in coco to wick and dry. The tee shirt thing did work a little better than the coco. I didn’t do a side by side for comparison so its anicdotal. Can’t hurt to try at this point. Why not transplant?
