Ok DGC, I need your help… I got this crazy girl and don’t know what to do with her.. I love her but she so uncooperative lol.. seriously tho I grow a lot of bag seed in search of the one and this plant is everything I could dream of, she’s got the looks smell and smoke.. not to mention I put her thru hell and didn’t she think to herm… but I can’t understand why she is so “bushy”. I’ve trained a few plants and it’s usually nowhere near this difficult, she grows from the bottom up.. anyways any training advice??? I feel like I should just flower way earlier with way less tops but idk. I have two clones about a month apart. The older one finally recovered from me drowning it on light and the younger was just transplanted from a one to a five gallon.
Every plant has its characteristics. Maybe you just don’t like hairy chicks. Not everybody does. Maybe you like it smooth and baby like. Leaves are powered though. If you harness it… Seems like you would have more power with a bushier plant. A lot more opportunity at least to spray shit and recover. More respiration to push nutrition through. Maybe you just don’t like it and that’s OK. There’s plenty of guys from the 70s still around to appreciate a bushy chic
I think shes worth it if you want something different than what youre used to. try to trellis it and get as many tops as you can and flip earlier. if youre trying to make a canopy even with other plants you can lift it with a bucket or someting
Different plants grow differently. Sounds like you’ve done this a couple times, so inevitably you’ve seen her opposite, those really lanky leggy sativa-structure plants. If this is random bagseed, it’s probably going to display a lot of characteristics of one of its parents. Lookin’ at those fat lobes, you got the indica parent pheno.
I love the structure of this plant. That tight inter-nodal spacing will make a nice squat plant thick with flower. Good tent breeder!
Woah looks like its doing on its own what I wanted for the final results of diamond cropping. The good news is you could have something really special there. The bad news is it could end up popcorning like mine did.
Looks like great genetics for mainline training, I’d love making them out to be like a fancy medieval candlestick holder I could parade around with once it’s chopped.
