Hey DGC,

Was reading the FAQ on the realgrowers site and I noticed that if your recharge gets damp it activates it and it isn’t good anymore.  I just got my first bag and wanted to keep it fresh.  So I thought, hell, the person to ask about this would be the man Scotty Real himself.  So my question is would it hurt to throw a desiccant pack down in my bag of recharge to keep the moisture out.  My house can get around 70 percent at times higher than my tent and I didn’t want any moisture to leak in a ruin it.  I gave my girls their first full watering with it this morning mixing it with the captains recipe nutes and some sns 209 with some superthrive thrown in for good measure.

I am currently growing with 550w of blurple  light 2100w in silly blurple numbers.  They don’t have the footprint I need.  Also they are at the end of their ropes as far as being raised at this point I am having to rig up ways to raise them now.  I just ordered a couple of 240w quantum boards in 3000k (thanks for the info on that in ep891 Guru it is exactly what I needed to know.  I plan on using them to cover 4 ftx4 of my 8 foot tent and maybe using one of the blurples to cover a bit more on the end although I plan on getting 2 more to get my whole tent covered in real light when I can afford it.   I  am currently 3.5 weeks into flower this strain can flower forever it seems or maybe its my shitty lights but I noticed that some of the buds already have hairs that are turning orange with no real white ones replacing them.  I was thinking they aren’t getting enough light but still am not sure and hope it isn’t a sign of anything else.  I have been moving the blurples back and forth so the plants are only getting max light from them about 6 hrs with the light directly above them.  Is this a bad Idea?  I thought it might keep them going for another week until my qb’s get here.  Will it hurt to add these new lights 4 weeks into flower?

Last question guys I promise.   I have been cursed with spider mites every grow I have done and it drives me nuts.  I spray using a oil soap solution and different things like neem oil and overgrow.  I have been able to keep them at bay and get all green new growth but always after a week or so they are back even if I spray multiple times IE 2-3 days after spraying first time to get the fresh ones.  I was watching the show and seen you guys talking about ladybugs so I ordered 1500 which should be here in a week or so.  Will this take care of my mite problem? Also how many should I release?  Jorge Cervantes said in one ultimate grow vids to just release them and vacuum them back up and store in the fridge if their gets to be to many of them but no one really says how many to release in the first place.  I have to get rid of these little bastards I can’t wait to release a unstoppable voracious army of super mite predators into my grow and see them completely decimate those mites.  I am usually a live and let live kinda person but these mites have went way to far.  I wish I had a good microscope so I could watch the ladybugs tear into them.  Assuming they have plenty of mites for food what else is most important to maintaining a healthy breeding population? Guru I think you said  a mild sugar water, do you know the proportions?  Something like 1:4 like hummingbird water?  Do I soak a sponge or leave them a dish of water to drink from?  I definitely want to get the nymphs going so they can really give them what for.

Update:

Is this normal development for 26 days into flower?  I have the Qbs coming, do you fine people see anything else I can do to improve my current setup?  I have fans and a 8 inch can fan for intake there is air movement in there I know you cant see them.    Spraying with the oil soap spray has killed some pistils but I think  they will come back they did last time but will probably slow my flower down significantly while they recover.  My last plant seemed to take ages but it was not grown in coco or with nutes.  These are all in coco except one I am still debating on repotting into a fabric pot its in a 5 gal plastic and I have a 7 gal fabric that it would probably love.  I just don’t wanna hurt it more at his point.

I have a inkbird temp controller that lets me set a temp and then a differential say +- however many degrees from that number say set it on 77  and +- 2 degrees it will go up to 79 and my big can fan will kick on till it cools it back to say 75.  I was wondering what the ideal setting would be for my grow in veg and more importantly almost 4 weeks into flower like I am now.  Also what should my humidity be set at?  its generally around 47–59

Here are the questions again and the photos that were requested by a commenter on my past post. I gave my girls their first full watering with recharge this morning mixing it with the captains recipe nutes and some sns 209 with some superthrive thrown in for good measure.
