Hi Guys, Here is all the info i think you need. Tent size 3×3. 3 autos, royal queen seeds amsterdam, northern lights. Temp is controlled (inkbird) = 26.5 degrees c (80F). Humidity is also controlled (inkbird) = 65% with a 5% swing. Medium = canna coco pro+ with 20% perlite. Pots = fabric 4 gallons. pH = watered in at 5.7 – 5.9. Lights = 320W invisible sun LED (samsung Q board LM301H with meanwell driver). Light is also 3 ft away currently. Air mover on 24 hours but not directly at plants just to stop any micro-climates. Nutes = ecothrive charge pre amended into medium followed instructions from tub, i will link it for any info. I also have full cana line on hand in case i need to add any nutes to the plants and Recharge once a week baby!!!! Girls are 2 weeks old. I do this just for me guys not to sell or anything, not done many runs but this is the first where i have used an organic to pre-amend. First 2 have leaf curl and faded leaves are they just hungry and the last has crazyyyy leaf curl? maybe a bad pheno? i do pop seeds. Thanks for the help DGC your the best.

They look like they need more water top of coco looks dried out. Coco isn’t meant to get dried out. Also insect frass doesn’t contain anywhere near enough nutrients or micronutrients for a complete cycle. It’s a great biological and does contain some nutrient. Coco isn’t the best media choice for an amended type grow due to its cec.
There is no nutrition in your frass amendment. They need fed, badly. Also what coolin said about being too dry. They should never dry out.
Ok, so this happened to me recently. When I mixed my soil , I did not give any cooking time and my amendment were also just… dry. I threw the clones in and they were pissed. I flushed like a toilet at the buffet with just ph water. They looked like more hot shit till they dried out. They all recovered. The same soil for veg. Has now been sitting cooking for a few weeks and when I planted some new clones in it, no problem. I am learning that all this powdered shit is like gunpowder. Hot and powerful. I hope you wear a respirator when working it. If not, listen to Scotty talk about fungal lung infection.
I have some seedlings that showed these issues early too. For me it ended up being a root issue from over watering. As mentioned above however it seems like your pots are dry so maybe it’s not the same issue I had (they look identicle tho) Double check VPD according to my chart 80F at 65%RH is a very high VPD for the flowering phase of growth. At 80F you need to be at around 80%RH to be in the seedling / early veg. Range. Maybe the roots can’t keep up with transpiration ??? Good luck 👍
There is nothing to cook in this. He didn’t add amendments. He only added insect frass with minute amounts of nutrition. Coco requires constant watering and feeding to thrive. The CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity) is a lot worse in coco as compared to something like a peat based soil, which means they require more watering and feeding. I don’t think cooking would be the best terminology here. I would be more apt to say activated. Cooking refers to the soil mix reaching, 135 degrees if I remember correctly. This is done through decomposition within the soil base. The microbes start breaking down everything, thus generating thermal decomposition. You typically need to wait at least 30-45 days to get the most out of your soil. I have actually cooked soil for 5-6 months, and that shit was amazing! Everything broke down amazingly and was perfect for the plants. One thing to remember about super soil is that that shits hot af. You cant put small plants in it or they will get burned up real quick like. I hope this helps explain the difference in dry amendment break down, which typically starts working its magic within a couple weeks, versus cooking soil for 4-8 weeks. Stay lifted
Use the Canna Coco nutrients you have and they’ll bounce back. You hurt their roots over the past 2 weeks with too much or too little water with an incorrect pH and is why they look like they do. Feed them at least once a day going forward. Seedlings don’t need much nutrition the first few weeks but will go downhill quick without proper nutrition once they’ve established enough roots to grow. You’re growing in a coco/perlite mix. This is hydroponics and need to be fed on an exact schedule if you want them to perform. Mix a proper soil if you want to grow organically in the future.
