Wonder if you could get the guys from Mammoth P back on to tell what’s going on to cause our leaves to yellow and fall off as if fall is here. Just like the trees outside do. I made a post in the forum about this and Jmystro is also experiencing this effect. Thanks for all that you guys do.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I reached out to the guys at Mammoth P recently when I received the product because it smelled so bad I thought that it went bad before it got to me. They replied within minutes. I emailed: Info@GrowCentia.com. I have been using it for my entire flower this grow period without any ill effects. I’m at day 43 of flower and my plants look extremely happy. No more yellowing of leaves than the normal yellowing that you would expect as the flowers mature. Also, for what its worth, I was told the horrible smell is just the way the product smells.
It’s not a horrible smell… I use earth juice nutes btw 😉 they are horrible. I am only going into week 5 of flowering using mammoth the entire time.. I, for the first time in my life, burned my plants using organics and mammoth p.. Not bad, but I definitely don’t need as much sea bird poop in my mix with the mammoth.
Need a better description of the leaves falling off and whatnot to help in any way.
I grow organically so if I mess up how much nitrogen i give my plant before and during the flowering stretch, my fan leaves will start to turn yellow by week 4.5ish… But it never progresses to the bud sites.. Even on a 10 weeker…
Usually my lower fan leaves will start to yellow up around week 6 and I like it that way. Nitrogen moves easily throughout marijuana and like Scotty said today, the last 2 weeks you aren’t as worried about those fan leaves acting as solar panels
I’m not sure about the earth juice nutes but my Mammoth P smells like a bad case of diarrhea. Thats what I told them in the email, and they said yep, that’s the smell. I guess smell is subjective but I’m the kind of person that thinks skunk spray smells good (smells like good bud to me). Anyways, just to keep the discussion going because I know Mammoth P is a new product and the more info that is out there about it the better: I grow with synthetic nutes in rockwool and use Mammoth at the concentration recommended on the bottle for soil/coco. I never go over 800ppm and I do pH adjust even though it may not be completely necessary with bennies.
Yes. Mammoth P smells like Mammoth piss. Works like a charm though! I’m a believer!!
It causes an optical drought… like fall in a bottle. And the plant begins to dump ot nitrogen and up take more phosphorus and patassium. Thats the best i can explain it. Ive used similar products and always happens about 4 to 5 weeks to harvest.
Mammoth P is an Alfalfa base, it is likely to have triacanitol in it. Tho they claim they have not tested for it. 90% of todays products that are sold in hydroponic shops have PGR’s and other additives that are not on the label of ingredients. Bullshit I know, but this is how they turn snake oil into a viable sellable with repeat business product. They claim to have some new technology and the PGR makes the pudding look like it was their claim. I use PGR’s. They problem is with so manufacturers adding their own hormones, the plants are not getting good cycles. If a body builder didnt follow a routine on his testosterone injections, theres a good chance he might end up with bitch tits. Over use of steroids on plants, does not increase, it becomes detrimental causing more harm than good. Nutrients and lighting needs to be reduced when using PGR’s because the steroids make them uptake everything in the medium around the roots. Ending up buring many peoples plants. This next cycle I will only be using Mammoth P as a Foliar spray during veg. And then for the first three weeks of flower or less. Also going to skip my usual 6 BAP.
Well i know a spike in potassium can cause leaves to yellow. If i am correct mammoth p specifically targets the release of potassium and different phosphates. So i would expect to see this in mid to late flower
