Hey DGC. Have been using a 315w CMH light in my 2 x 3 small cabinet grow for almost 3 years now. I’ve grown solely with the 3100K spectrum bulb . I was wondering if switching the spectrum to 4200K for the last two weeks of flower would be a worthwhile experiment. Over all I’m happy with using the 3100K bulb start to finish but wouldn’t mind switching bulbs if it increased quality of meds.

Ive heard more toward the 10000k spectrum on mh. Removing the red late in flower is proven to stress them positively. Only thing I would say would be to be sure that they have bulked up before switching. Hopefully on a known strain so you can see if it was worth it. 4000k bulb would be more ideal for vegging plants up to week 2-3 of flower/end of stretch.
