Just picked up a bag of Real Growers Recharge for my cannabis grow. Looking forward to using it.
With that said, I also have a 50′ x 50′ outdoor vegetable garden and obviously I can use Recharge on my peppers and tomatoes. My question is, will Recharge inoculate my outdoor garden with these beneficial bacteria and fungi permanently? Will these cultures survive in my soil year over year? Or at least through one season. Can I spray my soil with Recharge once in the spring and see season long benefits or do these colonies die out because they are not native.
Thank you in advance.
Recharge can be applied to any plant in your garden. You can use Recharge as a foliar spray also. Here’s a user guide to help answer your questions. https://www.dudegrows.com/realgrowers-recharge-cannabis-user-guide/
I realize it can be applied to any plant in my garden. What I’m asking is if these bacteria and fungi will permanently colonize my soil? Will applying once or twice a year create a long term colony of these beneficial organisms.
Like you mentioned some might take to the conditions more so then others. So to balance out the population reinnoculation is recommended. I would expect to see season wide benefits with a single feed but increased benefit if the balance is maintained.
Take a look at some soil microbes articles.
Here’s a basic one
https://www.gardenmyths.com/soil-microbes-need-to-add-them-garden/
We add Recharge weekly to repopulate the microbes we want, but who the fuck knows what’s going on in there. The article I shared suggests there are millions in 1 gram of soil. Read up on the topic outside of a specific brand of product and use the current science available to make these types of decisions. If you ask someone who makes the product how often you should use it, the answer won’t be once.
I’m not sure if there is a definite answer to your question since we know so little about microbes. Excuse me for being a Recharge homer, but just apply that shit often 😆
