Hey guys,
Just stumbled upon your show about a month ago. And now, proud member of the DGC! Love what you guys are doing! And I’m happy to be apart of it.. So I’ve got an issue on some outdoor plants that I have never seen before. Hoping you guys can help me get down to the bottom of it! I’m located in Michigan. I planted these plants in Michigan mediums super soil (which tends to run hot) so I cut it with about 30% coco. (canna coco). And added azos and mykos from extreme gardening. I put the plants outside the day that I transplanted them.(didn’t have enough room to keep them inside in the bigger pots) they went outside right around June 10th. The weather has been pretty solid so far. I have been giving them water at a pH of about 6.5 as needed. Using recharge once a week. And using foliar sprays including power si and floralicious plus. My first though was a calcium deficiency. But now that its progressed, I’m not so sure. i also found some pictures of Leaf septoria That look kind of similar. So I was thinking about getting a liquid calcium and an organic fungus to try to combat this issue. Let me know what you guys think! Much appreciated. Stay high my friends.
You’ve got something munching on your leaves. That’s certainly not nutritional.
100% insect damage. Look for something that works on ‘sucking’ insects, like Grandevo from MarroneBio. I probably sound like a salesman for their products but they really are as good as Guru and the guys claim. Hope this helps
Yeah as the crew said above, that’s insect damage not a nutritional problem.
The products from Marrone bio would definitely be a good thing to consider here.
I also recommend you check out the IPM Guide. You can get the short version here:

The DGC crew has you covered with their responses above, but thought I’d add…
I happened to be googling around for common garden pests/insects and happened to see some leaf damage that looks exactly like what you posted. If I had to guess I’d say it’s leafhopper damage.

I’ve seen them around my garden and never knew what they were.
Good Luck and #growerslove
Leaf hoppers for sure, I use Captain Jack’s dead bug brew, seems to work well
Thanks for the quick responses everyone! sure enough I found that sucker as soon as I went out to the garden. I had some captain jacks laying around.. and I just picked up a couple of Morrone Bio product the other day. so I should be good to go! thanks again DGC!!
