Yo what’s up DGC!?
I wanted to share with you all some of my recent microscopy work. In the pictures below we have some awesome endophytes! Endophytes are organisms, bacterium or fungal, that live inside of a plant. The endophytes pictured are AMF (Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi). The circular/oblong shapes are called vesicles , you can also see the fungal hyphae surrounding the root and connecting to the vesicles. The symbiotic relationship between plants and endophytes is amazing and the most efficient way for plants to receive nutrition. They also assist in many other ways by assisting in the plants adaptation to stressful environments. Fortunately, most of us use products like recharge which helps get these colonies established! Hopefully more on this topic and many more coming your way soon! Thanks guys!

Those are incredible pics. Thanks for sharing.
This is so cool! Do you also get lost in a microscope? I wish I had nothing to do but sit around and look at different things sometimes for days.
Adding another comment to shout out to Drano on the show!! Great information and as funny as always. Props to my buddy Sunny who was shouted out on the episode too. Keep the content coming.
These are great pictures! Endophytes are an interesting study! AMFs are a type of endophyte based on some classifications, but I find endophytes that participate in the rhizophagy cycle the most intriguing.
Microbes that undergo the Rhizophagy cycle are typically the ones that provide great benefit to the plant’s immune system and microbiome. Tricoderma and Bacillus Subtillis are a couple in recharge that do just that.
I used to wonder how recharge worked in preventing PM and after I learned about the rhizophagy cycle it all made sense.
Plants farming microbes and re-releasing them back into the media is so magical to me. People should definitely look into the rhizophagy cycle and utilize the power of it! Happy growing & studying! #growerslove
