The Story of Soma Seeds by J.R. | Jun 2, 2016 | HighLife | 1 comment 1 Comment Ricardo on July 15, 2023 at 4:34 am Hi DGC, My name is Ricardo. I’ve been following your YouTube channel for several years now, and want to thank you and your team for putting out informative content. Keep up the great work!!! I’ve recently retired somewhat earlyish (57yrs. old), and moved from FL to Central Mexico- about 16 months ago. For years, I have been using cannabis medicinally as it helps me deal with eye problems. Now that I’m retired, I want to grow my own. In Mexico, I have applied for, and have yet to receive government approval for home grown cannabis. My lawyer’s all say it’s imminent, its guaranteed to happen, but i’m still waiting, and waiting, and waiting. We Love Mexico, nothing wrong, its just that I want to grow my own medicine legally. In addition, I don’t see any benefit in waiting any-longer. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not having any difficulty finding good weed… It’s that I want to grow my own. I want to learn, practice, grow this or that, try again… I want to experience all of the steps needed to fulfill this activity. Given these issues, I have decided to move back to the US and thats where I would like to seek your input/ recommendation(s). Where would you move to and why? FL doesn’t allow home grow, so I have to look West and North. Of course, if and when my Mexican permit is finally issued, then I would likely consider going back and starting from there. As someone very unfamiliar with other States of the Union, particularly those located West of the Mississippi River, where should I look to move? I’m open to anywhere so long I can grow my own plants and have fun gardening. I’m thinking 6 plants in a grow-tent, or maybe some plants outdoors if allowed, would be great for me. This is a bucket list activity for me, and I’m willing and wanting to move to just about anywhere in the world…. I’m talking about any US State or Territory, Canada, and/or Mexico, so long it’s all legal. I want to do this, but don’t really know where. Did visit Spain, Portugal, France; however, they are not as advanced when it comes to grow your own as it meets the eye. Good weed indeed; however, these countries are all struggling with the legalities of it all. One last point, at the U.S. Federal Government level, I’m not holding any hope for imminent legalization nor anything like that. I dont want to put this on hold anymore. Where would you move if you were in my shoes and why? Thank you for your feedback. Ricardo Log in to Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
