My wife has cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome/chs and I would love to find a strain that she can smoke is it the thc or the cbd or both can she smoke just cbd? What about edibles? Since it’s ingested instead I dont know if that matters? Maybe rso? Anything else idk about!? We learned the hard way chs is real….trynna be stubborn never thought weed could make u seriously sick she doesn’t smoke now….I still do.

When’s the last time she experienced it? Was it a one time only thing? What kind of cannabis was it, free market? This is a tough one and most people point to the pesticides, neem and its derivatives if I’m remembering correctly. Just another under researched topic due to its legality.
It was ongoing for 4 years we were very stubborn but the first couple of years it was just randomly sick but when she smoke it’d seem to help and it gradually got worse the weed stopped helping and she started getting more sick to the point where it turned into a all day thing couldn’t eat or do anything but take hot showers and try her best to not think about it it was baddddd!!! but in the long run she eventually quit and it was chs cuz she got better it was the free market but I smoked the same stuff and have been smoking many years before her I’k chs only affect certain people and I know it has something to do with her brain receptors bein triggers wrong or sumn
When she stopped she stopped for a few months and and then she tried to smoke again and it still made her sick she smoke like 1 time a week like 1 hit she’s fine any more and she will wake up sick and it’s bad like I dont know how to explain it but all she can do is focus on not getting sick so her smoking is not a option till we find a strain
Here’s a contradicting article with an interesting point but they aren’t taking into account that no other mode of ingestion of neem is burned and inhaled. Basically not enough research.

Definitely not enough we have searched and I will check the link now thank you
Grow your own 100% organic 1:1 or 1:2 bud.
A Honey Peach CBD autoflower is nice at 12% CBD and 9% THC.
If that makes her sick then she’s allergic to cannabis and SOL.
Will do I’ve been wondering about the 1:1 strains
I feel so bad for her. Maybe try a strain that is high in beta-caryophyllene. This terpene is known to help With GI problems. worth a shot.
Any suggestions on where to find that Strain

give this a read https://cannabisaficionado.com/beta-caryophyllene/
Thank you will do
You are very welcome. I hope you find a strain for her. I know GSC and gelato have caryophyllene. I also have stomach issues and plan to breed a strain high in this terpene. It doesn’t have the best flavinoid profile and great smell as some other terpenes. Usually high caryophyllene leans toward a peppery or spicy taste with a spicy and earthy smell. Actually one of my least fav terps for taste and smell but some times it is about the medicine. Durban poison has a dirty, earthy smell and is a fantastic cerebral high. More importantly, it can actually help a head ache or migrane when it has high levels of the cannabinoid THCV. Google for “cannabis varieties high in beta caryophyllene” and you should be able to get some researchable info. Best of luck!
Thank you
I agree, go fully organic! I have heard of chs going away after making this change
What is fully organic? Soil? Or?
