Hello Dude and Scotty,
Thanks for your great show and the help you put out to the DGC. I am growing a SCROG in a 3×3 closet and have two plants in 3.5 gallon Autopots. I’ve been vegging for about 8 weeks and was planning on going to flower in about a week. However, I am noticing some signs of what I think might be root bound plants. The leaves have become droopy and the new growth looks a bit stunted. Would it be okay to transplant these plants into larger 6 gallon Autopots before I go into flower? If so, how long should I wait to let the plants settle into their new home before starting flower? Here are some photos of the current plants and also the root ball size from about a week ago. Also, I know a lot of growers say to aim for a ph of around 5.5 – 6.1 when growing in hydro. I have also read that it is good to stay in the lower part of this range for vegging and the higher part of this range for flowering. Do you find this to be the case or does it really matter as long as you are in the 5.5 – 6.1 ph range? Thanks!
