This girl was on week 5 of being above the soil when I transplanted her from a one gal. To a seven gal. She was a little rootbound could’ve used the transplant a little earlier. She was in a buildasoil mix of their light and regular type soil forget the name. I have mixed both of those bag soils with some soil I had composted in the seven gal. Her leaves were not like this when I transplanted I do not know what has happen. SOS
Looks like was pulling nutrition from bottom leaves. Give her a week look for things getting worse. Those leaves aren’t coming back. Root bound takes time to get happy again.
Looks dry as a bone to me
top growth looks good. she just looks hungry. i wouldnt be too worried. bottom leaves always get sacrificed to the greater good so im not surprised to see the lower leaves die off. monitor it over the next week. i bet in 3 or 4 days it will start to explode again. recharge if you got it would do wonders i bet.
Yeah give it time.
I don’t really recommend mixing those soils together tho. Mixing the light mix with the regular living soil is kinda like making a weaker version of the usual build a soil blend. This isn’t really something you want to do unless you’ve got a specific reason. You’re basically just watering down the standard build a soil mix, which isn’t something I would recommend.
I agree with everyone here. Just start thinking about how you will amend the soil or provide foliar applications if the nutrient deficiency continues to progress.
Thank you all for the comments i chance came to a solution of root bound is not healthy for a growing plant and recharge is the way aye.
Looks like it needs water to me
