Water only soil? Posted by Cuzmas | Oct 7, 2019 | Dank Nugs, Grower Questions | 5 | Finally fun times growing without worrying. Does anybody see a real big difference growing in a water only soil mix based on quality and size using the same strain to find out?
Clink on October 7, 2019 at 5:02 pm A good mix will provide everything needed to produce top quality buds. Quantity with water only is more about the size of the pot you use, the bigger the pot, the bigger the yield. Think of it like this, if you mixed all the nutrients need for a full hydro run all at once, you’d need a big container to hold it all, right? Log in to Reply
JustCoolin on October 7, 2019 at 5:34 pm The idea behind water only living soil is the microbe community doing so much more and creating many plant beneficial substances. The benefit of hydro is the constant elevated levels of oxygen. Similar to running a room with elevated co2. These are the main building blocks of a plant, over 95%of the plant(carbon, oxygen, hydrogen). Most talk about increased secondary metabolites with living soil, terpenes and cannabinoids.
