Hey guys. I work in the cannabis industry and we recently found this issue on some of our plants. Lots of knowledgeable growers here but no one has seen this before. It has a silver like appearance on the leaves and when under a microscope it looks like a liquid that has come out of the leaves and then dried and crystallized. We scraped the top of the leaf while looking at it under the microscope and there’s definitely some sort of liquid under the dry top part. It’s definitely not PM. We only spray citric acid maybe once a month for our IPM and never had this issue with sprays in the past. It started with clones but normally went away in VEG once the plants got bigger, but now it’s in the flower rooms and is getting worse. Sorry for the quality of pictures do to HPS light. I’d love to have Guru’s input along with the rest of the DGC.
