I’m on my second harvest in about 3 weeks. I still have these garbage support wires that hold my lights almost a meter from the top of my tent. Well I’m sure you don’t want your lights against the ceiling I feel like I have no other option than to use these Mars hydro straps even though I’ve looked online I don’t feel I have a reasonable option. Can anybody point me to some short support straps for my mars hydro ts2000s?
Side note I think they’re fine with autos as they don’t get to be too tall, but I want to grow some photos and I don’t want to be hard capped on height.
It should be fine to get pretty close to the tent ceiling as long as there is some forced airflow. I might even rig up about a 3×3 square of black material above the light to catch and transfer infared heat instead of silver reflecting it back to the top of the light. I don’t know if that would do anything. I just thought it up.

These are what I use for my lights. They should work fine for you unless the hole in your light is smaller than these carabeaners.
Wait looking closer I think you have these connected to a wire/carabeaner. Can you just remove that wire and loosen your pulley system and put that carabeaner to your light? The bigger carabeaner is probably too big for the hole on your light so just get two smaller carabeaner and clip them to the bigger ones and then hook to your light. Then you won’t have all that space.
TJ called it… I don’t use those wire hangers either. I have the light connected directly to the pulleys. You’ll be able to bring the light up, just below the AC Infinity… which shouldn’t be an issue. Cheers!
Agree with previous posts. Ditch the long wires or fold them in half . You gotta just rig shit yourself sometimes. Good luck!! (You should aim to use those rope-ratchets to control the height of your light, but definitely you need to connect them directly somehow to eliminate that huge loss of space — Zipties, making your own wire, etc. )
I would order some heavy duty zip-ties if you can’t connect the carabiners directly as was previously recommended. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
you can buy a crimper and the parts at bass pro or on amazon need a crimper steel leader wire and the crimps
