Roughneck 1620 – So I went to the bar tonight for dinner cause well, the Mrs. is outta town.  I saw this beer on tap and absolutely had to try it. Now I joked around about how it might smell like weed remembering how Dude @dudegrows has remarked in the past about some weed infused beers. Well growmie if you’ve not had this IPA it’s like being smacked in the mouth by #OGKush. Serious notes of pine and citrus followed by a skunkiness that could rival thee #skunktooth. It’s was so dank the couple 4 stools away thought people in the bar had started smoking out 🤣🤣. My son who’s not a big fan of the wonderful smell was sitting next to me with his sweatshirt over his nose 🤣🤣🤣. So as with any beer 🍻 after a minute you’ll need to let out a belch. Can we say full on dank attack. I thought my son was going to fall off his stool; it was so strong the same couple looked over and started laughing at how skunky it was 🤣🤪🤣🤪🤣🤪🤣.

What’s Growing On?:

Guru has retired from being the Dude Grows Show producer. He had told us that he wanted to pursue other passions. He’s a big outdoorsman and wants to do something in that industry. At his age I was looking for life’s purpose… and I found it once I started growing. Growing weed, to palms, to bamboo… They were all dreams of a future that led to excitement!

I worked for my dad til I was in my 30’s and he was an amazing mentor and boss! Even so, I couldn’t wait to do something on my own! For me the catalyst was my girlfriend leaving me and saying “You’re a nice guy Scotty, but I don’t believe you’re going anywhere.” and she left and married a lawyer a couple years later. I trashed my 2 light closet and blew up the entire house with 20 lights and I grew myself out of that situation.

Thank you Mike Just Mike and G-13. With that $ I bought the bamboo nursery. Motivating people is an art. Working with people is an art. Getting people to believe in you is an art. It’s something that you have to keep doing well every day. The joy is in the journey, not the destination. We’re having a great time on that journey. I don’t really have a destination… Maybe the destination is normalizing cannabis and letting people know it’s great medicine. Maybe the destination is building a community of great people  IDK honestly. I tell my daughter all the time… The only constant is change. EMBRACE IT.

Banner has stepped in to be the 3rd voice of the show. I am excited about this move because Banner has only been a grower for about 7 years and is still EXCITED about growing. Hangs at the grow store. Interested in strains and breeders. Has experience growing organically. Loves being part of the cannabis community.
