I recently bought a pack of irie the machine. They were sent with a freebie from ethos. The freebies are candy store rbx 1. A few months ago I purchased some candy store fems from ethos. My question is would rbx 1 be feminized or regular seeds?
Is a RBX seed feminized?

Yes. A RBX is feminized. A reverse back-cross is made with pollen from a female that has been reversed.
what jmystro said 😹
I can’t believe it but there is a flaw in Mystros info. Sorry buddy. A reverse is a female that has been treated to make male sex organs on a female plant and produce pollen. That reversed pollen is all female chromosomes and when applied to a female you will have feminized seeds (intersex traits can still happen). Now a back cross is breeding it back to a parent. If that back cross was to the mother then you will have feminized seeds. If you back cross the reversed pollen to the male donor you will have photoperiod seeds in that F1 population. This type of bx is used to recover traits that may have been lost during inbreeding. Usually a back cross goes to the mother to reintroduce those desired observable traits such as flavor, smell and color. So in this case I would say if Colin has released it then it is most likely Bx to the mother and it is going to be all fem seeds. Back crossing to males is also used for genetic corrections but are not usually something breeders release. So your good but just clarifying🤙🏼
Flawed? Say wut? I know what a reverse is and I answered the question. I said the pollen came from a female. I didn’t explain how or what a back-cross is because it is not the question asked. No male is involved in a RBX. What part of that did you misunderstand?
You can also back cross to the male parent. These would not produce feminized seeds. I was just letting him know all the possibilities of an RBX. Lighten up dude.
I’m lost, is it a backcross that’s being reversed or a reverse that’s being backcrossed???? lol Happy New Year y’all!
You would reverse a female, then back cross it (most often to the female parent plant).
