Hey guys, SmokeDog here, woof woof.
I want to know more about Johnny Boone’s Kentucky Bluegrass. Sounds like an awesome heirloom outdoor strain. Are there seeds available? Has is been bred into other strains? Thanks.
Over here at the dog pound we love the Durban.
Peace
Great book, i believe i got mine off Amazon. Being a Kentucky boy, he sparked my interest. The stuff they did back then. Nothing but Outlaw stuff. He knew his stuff about growing and breeding.
I haven’t heard if his seeds are available. Doubt it. He’s just got caught in Canada a few years back and is now in Jail in U.S.
Just wanted to say hello to a fellow Kentuckian!
What’s up man!
Not much man. Just writing my congress critters trying to push repeal.
I am going to check Johnny Boone out!
Yo
According to the book Johnny Boone was actively breeding the Bluegrass in the 70’s.
By the 80’s his was as good or better than the stuff coming from California. I’d love to get my hands on some of those seeds, there’s got to some somewhere. Awesome outdoor strain. Maybe it was the Kentucky terroir, great environment for tobacco = great environment for cannabis?
Peace
I have a couple of uncles that grow outdoors in Kentucky, and it turned out great. My first clone was a Afgani my uncle gave to me. Everybody that grew by me always had that type of strain so they said. My buddy at work said if they don’t know you in those parts of town (everybody knows everybody) they’ll mess you up. He has a son in law that knows a guy up there. He told him don’t come up there without him. I’m going to take his word for it. Hopefully if it every gets legal in Kentucky, and his strains are around, they’ll be more open about it.
