I have only done one mix i stumbled online but lost the recipe and I think it was to hot anyways. Thanks Everyone and thank you DGC for all the Knowledge i have grown from the show and its community would be lost without ya!

If you want to use coco, I’d make a base mix of coco, compost and something for aeration, then add nutrients and minerals. The coot/buildasoil recipe works well if you tweak it a bit for coco with different minerals.
Mineral kit for coco-

and

or you could also get those same ingredients locally and save on shipping.
Thanks a lot SOUP i think I will give that a go and order that here soon! Looking forward to giving it a go.
I’m all for mixing it up but i’d ask SOUP what the ph should be in that particular mix. the coco is low and the organic material is high so i’m curious.
It’s recommended you go with a slightly different mineral mix for a coco based soil than a peat based soil. This helps balance out some of the differences between peat and coco, including the differences in how they buffer pH. Build a soil already did the lab work for us and has a mineral mix adjusted for coco.
If you were asking about what pH the water should be, with living soil you generally don’t have to worry about your water pH. With balanced minerals and lots of microbes, the soil pH will stay in the ideal range all on its own, even if your water pH is less than ideal.
