What’s up DGC! Been listening for about 3 months now and I truly love the show, so much that I decided to become a supporter, after all this is cheaper than netflix and in my opinion has way better content. That said I’m interested in trying some Recharge. I currently use Tribus at 1-2ml/gal along with Jack’s pro hydro 3/2/1 in Promix/sunshine #4/berger BM6, whatever is available/cheapest. I’m wondering if Recharge would be a good in addition to my current line up or if it would be a replacement for the Tribus?

I have been using Tribus in my nutrient combo along with my recharge Tribus is a fascinating product in that it covers all your most important movements like fixation, mobilization and chelation as it says . If you go to their sight they can give you all the other facts that I found to keep it in my nutrient uptakes. Especially the amytoligiuefacians.not found in Recharge.So I do a weekly and have been satisfied with both for a couple of years never had any, none,zip.zero plant panic. That’s my thought.
according to the Tribus website, it contains, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, and Bacillus pumilus.
I’m pretty sure recharge has both subtilis and pumilus, not sure about the other one.
Recharge also has other beneficial microbes including trichoderma and other species beneficial fungi not found in Tribus. It also contains kelp, L-amino acids, humics and molasses too, so even if it overlaps with the Tribus on some of the microbes, there are still lots of other benefits Recharge brings to the table.
So yeah… Recharge it up!
I forgot to mention I also use fulvic acid powder @.6g/gal in my feed mix. I see recharge includes fulvic, so similar question as before but with fulvic: would recharge replace my fulvic or can I continue to use at .6g/gal? I don’t feel like there would be an issue, hard to really over do fulvic but I’d like to run it by the DGC.
Also should I include the recharge in my normal feed or use it solo? Thinking a FEED/FEED/RECHARGE kinda schedule
Yup you could probably drop that other fulvic product. Recharge has that covered. Probably not an issue to double up on fulvic, but you’d probably save some money by dropping that separate product.
I find Recharge works best as a “once a week treat”. it’s really quite flexible as far as how often you use it, just keep in mind the cost of your inputs. One good solid dose every week seems like the most cost effective way to use it.
Actually… just to slightly correct myself…
Recharge contains humic acid which is very similar to fulvic acid but is less refined and has larger particle size.
Fulvic acid is kinda like a more refined/pure version of humic acid. The particles are also much smaller, which makes fulvic acid more effective as a foliar.
So my advice is… use the recharge in your soil, and use the more refined fulvic acid product as part of a foliar spray. 👍
Tribus really rocks! I use 50/50 mix fox farm ocean forest and sunshine number 4 then add perlite into it.I like to used tribus at 1ml per gallon the whole run.I use recharge once every two weeks and rx green technologies root once every two weeks but on opposite weeks.both are very similar so you could use just one of those powder bennies.both are wonderful products.I’m having great results with tribus original or the tribus bloom.I’m currently doing a side by side test of mammoth p and tribus microbes .hope this helps brotha.happy growing
