I heard Scotty say there’s no need to use it outdoors but wouldn’t that be the best time to use it? He really didn’t explain why you shouldn’t (I don’t think) on one the past episode I heard it on cause since I started using silica like a year ago my plants stems are so much more beefy during flowering I would think it do the same for an outdoor grow, Happy growing from Michigan “guys” lol

I think that was meant for if you planted in soil, as most soils have plenty of silica to offer. If you planted in pots with a media like indoors then there should be the same benefit as if it was used indoors.
Is it ever possible to have too much silica?
Too much silica is like too much carbon in solution. They both can create bonds on all four sides creating unusable solids.
Ok, thank you. I was wrong in what I thought and have been loose with the silica at times.
