Hey DGC! So I’ve seen a couple of home tissue culture kits online over the past year or so and was wondering if anyone has had any success with any of them? I would love to make a fresh copy of my older plants that I plan to keep indefinitely. There was also some discussion in a separate question as to if you can tissue culture clone an autoflower plant. Anyway, post below if you have any experience with home tissue culture cloning.

The only person I know that has one of these at home kits is Malik Sypdr hopefully he sees this and makes a post, if not, maybe you can shoot him a DM on Instagram or track him down in hangouts.
I have been wanting to check this out as well. I found some kits online and at amazon.com. Some of the big grow stores have them available. I noticed two different kit sizes, a “master ” kit and a smaller entry kit. What I did come across is that the kits are somewhat plants specific? I ran across a guy on you YouTube cloning two or three nodes clippings. From what I understand is that you are suppose to be able to grow a new plant from just a piece of leaf or so. I think that you can actually store samples for long periods of time. It supposedly also resets the ” Clock” on the plants genetics. I am looking to try this out for learning experience. Good luck.
